Li'l Bhaji on a trip to the park was fascinated by all the ducks...

On what was supposed to be a nice stroll through the woods I managed to lose the camera case, the camera remote and got myself locked in the wrong part of the car park...
... there's a lot to be said for staying indoors and watching TV.

Messed up a lot of pictures by having too slow a shutter speed set, so messing around with virtual painter so I don't just chuck them away...

Okay, Cezanne I'm not, but it made me laugh...

I'm not sure what I dislike most about graffiti - the fact it's an eyesore, destruction of property, or that the creators are just so damn unoriginal.

Well, if it's going to rain constantly, I may as well practise with the macro function. Shot a load of these water droplet photos and this was one of the better ones. Do need practise getting the focus/exposure better though.

Two unexpected things happened today. The first was that the battery in my Micra was inexplicably so flat that not even the central locking worked. The second was the rabbit dead of unknown causes lying outside our garage. No connection that we can fathom. I thought a picture of the battery might make my readers slightly less queasy...

One really good thing about living on a well thought out new estate is that cycle and footpath provision is superb. And look - even someone picking up the rubbish on a Sunday!

This week's Photo Friday challenge was to walk two units away from your starting point, turn right, walk another four units then photograph what you find. There are blackberries everywhere around our house at the moment, so hardly surprising I found these juicy specimens along a nearby footpath.

This is part of a thermometer which is on the external wall of the villa we stayed at.

You know, I think Li'l Bhaji will make a great sports spectator when he grows up...

Probably a little oversimplistic, this photo, but I love the colour and distortion effects. Plus it makes the water look warmer and more inviting than it actually was!

I went into maniac mode on seeing this butterfly while on holiday. Sodding thing wouldn't stay still. Quite impressed the picture came out, truth be told. Now, if my random mysterious flower identifier could just help out again...

Oh to be back in Spain. The blue skies... glass of rioja in hand... Of course, I'd leave the kids behind this time ;)

I love the texture on this - it's Akra Jr's wooly mammoth.
