Writer
I have been living in a make-believe world of stories since the very first time I got lost in a book, but have only been serious about the craft of writing for eight years. In the last twelve months, I’ve begun admitting to it in public. One day, I may even get paid for it.
I have written three first draft novels, the latest of which I care enough about to be in the first round of structural edits. I may be some time.
Fighter
Started as a whim after a ‘try something new’ challenge, I got hooked and stayed. I was a student of Wing Chun (a style of Chinese Kung Fu) for just over a year. Now, I’ve switched to Krav Maga, an Israeli fighting system.
It’s a lot of fun and it constantly takes me to my limits. I still have a lot to learn.
Geek
My first computer was given to me at the age of 8 – an Acorn Electron. That set me on the treacherous and winding path of geekery. You’d now have to prize my iMac (and iPhone and iPad) out of my cold dead hands.
See: FIGHTER.
The Prattle
A place where the three aspects of my personality can live in harmony.
Or where I can procrastinate.
Take your pick.
