My children have been gracious and generously shared their lurgy with me.
Last week, they kept me awake every night with their hacking coughs, raging temperatures, headaches and bad dreams.
This week it’s my turn to be ill, only they get to sleep through.
I call that blatantly unfair.

Why do ill people always make you ill when you’ve been nice enough to nurse them through their sickness? Feel better soon!

OTOH I don’ t think I’d really want my children to be awake with me during the night while I’m trying to be ill :-) They’d either be demanding I build lego with them or they’d be stuffing nosedrop nozzles up my nose and knocking over the cough mixture…
