The UK Territorial Army are currently offering a free interactive personal fitness programme on their website which looks pretty good, although there’s a lot of emphasis on jogging which I don’t particularly enjoy.
I have been slowly getting fitter this year and am getting to the point where I have more control over and more strength my body, so it does appeal. I mentioned it to Sylvia the Cynic who reckons they’ll try and recruit you by the end of the training, but still might be worth a play.
Anyone tried it who can give some feedback?

All I had to do was one circuit of Afghanistan, and that was it.

I think I’m with Sylvia on this one. Next thing you know they’ll be offering free stress tests…

Might seem strange, but the good housekeeping site has a fitness section with exercises that are not all running. It gives you about 20 mins of short exercises which certainly have me glowing by the end! (But in my cricket coach’s guise, I do the stretching at the end when the body is fully warmed up.)

Would that be Dom agreeing with me? I think I’m having a heart attack!
