My Husband Went To America For The Week…

21st September 2008 · 8 Comments

… leaving me in sole charge of the children and I didn’t even get a lousy t-shirt!

He also brought home really noisy cable car toys for the kids which ding loudly every time you run them along the floor.

We need to have words.

I *did* organise some really good chocolate for her! (obviously, this is not American…)

*dreads to think of the carbon footprint of Belgian chocolate that was flown to the Western coast of the US and then back to the UK* :D Oh, and I’m on a diet…

Gordon: run far, run fast :D

Ingrid: I missed him really, and am glad he’s back. Just found it funny that he got (really loud and annoying) toys for the kids and forgot about meeeeeeee. Will be angling for at least a meal out somewhere as penance ;)

So where do you go on *your* week away? :) Come on it is only fair isn’t it?

Well I got a week away earlier this year to look after my mother after an operation.

No, wait… that’s not quite the same, is it?

I did think I should get some time away, but I’ve no idea where I could go, lol.
