Add to that when you take photos at museums or historic places and then looking back realise you can’t remember what that place/thing was called and why it was important enough to take the photo in the first place!

I think that there are Flickr groups where you can post pictures and other group users will try to identify them. They’re called “Identify This Animal” and stuff like that.

I’ve since found out it’s a sort of Macaw – Primolius auricollis to be precise :) Now you can all be very impressed indeed… ;)

I do that with plants, then you sound very knowledgeable when spouting the name!!
