Chaos in the Naan House

27th December 2007 · 6 Comments

I hope you all had a great Christmas!

We had a great one – Li’l Bhaji and Akra Jr enjoyed themselves thoroughly and were really well behaved, thrilled with everything they opened and were real little Christmas spirits.

We all have Wii shoulder (and I finally managed to reduce my wii fitness age from 49 down to 29 – yay! Shame my mother was far better than all of us at it!).

Only about a tenth of the Christmas food has got eaten, but a far greater proportion of booze got drunk.

We can no longer see the carpet as we are now apparently a well-stocked toy shop. And both children have been regaling us on the “piano” and “drums” (thanks for the latter goes to my sister-in-law… did I do something to upset you recently? ;) ) and Li’l Bhaji surprisingly is showing some sense of rhythm and musical talent.

I have a huge pile of books and goodies to go through and Akra bought me Photoshop (although unfortunately stuck in customs, it is on its way – yay!).

How was yours?

Less of the ageist resentment – you should be proud of your mum, and no, it wasn’t a fluke!! Glad it was a good Christmas.

LOL not so much ageist as an in joke – she’s always hated computer games and never really saw the point of them ;) She really enjoyed playing the Wii and did really well at it…

And a Merry Christmas to the Naan household!

You have Wii shoulder, I have Playmobil eyestrain from all those fiddly little pieces!

Wiis are great fun though. Just watch that your neighbours can’t see in the window when you are playing! I love the tennis game, the boys love the baseball game – what is the Naan preference?

Oooh – Photoshop and a pile of books – that’s my kind of Christmas!

Sounds like a wonderful Christmas. And you’ll have time for the books and Photoshop exactly when? LOL.

Paula: bowling seems to be the best for all of us to play. My personal favourite is the golf though. Can’t get to grips with the boxing controls though – how weird are they?!

    SeaBird: mine too!

Dragonstar: erm… not sure exactly – I’m sure I’ll make time somewhere along the way!
