  You will have noticed then that (bar the beard) he is now the spitting image of his dad.

  Oh and I should add, he looks so grown up! I would also say cute-as-pie but he is getting to the age where that kind of statement is *very* embarrassing.

  Gosh, he really is growing up fast Pewari! Can hardly believe how old he looks there – he is inded a very handsome young man, with or without his glasses (which are very smart, I have to say!)

  The glasses suit him a lot. You’re right: he looks as though he was born with them. My sister was the same. Didn’t need glasses ’til she was about twenty-one and now we can’t remember what she looks like without them!

  Saw this as a thumbnail on your Flickr page and had to look twice to see if it was him or a childhood photo of his dad! I remember Akra when he looked like just like that. Heh.

  He chose the glasses himself :) In about 5 seconds flat (because they were blue).

  He did express interest in a very hideous plastic pair (that were also labelled designer and I would have had to pay extra for) which gave me too many flashbacks of my first NHS pair of specs so I vetoed those ;)

  I remember those. I had a pair when I was 10 and vowed never to put my kids through it. and they cost a fortune!! How did that happen?
