I think that people are losing sight of the fact that:

a) this is a blog. Comments are for responding to the post, not as a substitute message board. There are plenty of message boards out there for people if they choose to use them.

b) I am not a message service. You want to organise getting in contact with people? Then sort that out between you.

I do not believe this speculation is helping Madeleine. On the contrary, I feel this continual encouragement to contact authorities for spurious reasons is highly damaging and wasting police resources. This isn’t a game. This is a child’s life.

I strongly believe that I cannot let my own part of cyberspace be responsible for that interference any longer, although I realise I can’t prevent anything off board. I do not want to be responsible for that and I am already highly upset that I could be the source for additional stress for the McCann family.

Do you mean that we should just have faith in the police then? Because that’s worked so far hasn’t it? Not. What does it matter to you if psychics are willing to give their time freely to try and help locate her? you’re obviously a sceptic, which is your right, but it doesn’t give you the right to question other people’s willingness to help. If that was my daughter, I’d want to know anything that might help bring her home to me, and that would include any addresses or names that the psychics had come up with. If you read carefully you will see that a lot of them are very concerned about contacting the police and family with this information for fear of ridicule and not being taken seriously. People like you only reinforce the uncertainty. I wonder what you will say if these pyschics turn out to be right but never contacted the authorities for fear of recrimination. I hope you will be able to live with that. I say go for it guys; the police are doing sweet F.A; we’ve heard nothing from them for 5 days now. If it turns out wrong, then it’s wrong, but if it’s right…

It is all well and good thanking Pewari for allowing you to post your psychic nonsense on her blog (Although I do believe a few have been rather thick-skinned in presuming she welcomes such talk) but as this seems to be continuing I shall ‘join in’ once again and ask that before any further posts are made you think carefully about what you are doing.

Posting here about emailing the parents and contacting the police etc could encourage other readers to do the same. Enough is enough.

Every time an email is sent, there will be hope at the receiving end that it *could* be a genuine piece of information. It is nothing but cruel to send emails with talk of some person who claims to have had a dream. This is hampering the investigation as much as the Reward Grabbers. Wasting the police’s precious time by urging them to follow ridiculous false ‘leads’ is WRONG.

I respect the right that people should be allowed to have faith in dreams, cards, crystals or whatever but I ask you to respect the right of Madeleine to have all resources put to proper use in finding her.

I would like to boldly speak on behalf of everyone here and say that NO ONE is interested in being given a reward OR gaining recognition – we are united in one thing and one thing only – getting Madeleine back safely to her parents.

Sophia I have checked it all out believe me there is nothing on the internet other than their site for the complex. If you saw Brian’s latest RV you will know from the forum what I think. Should I chance my arm and ring the number or should I pass it on?? I do not know what the hell to do for the best. The last thing I want to do is give the family false hope and detract the authorities from the case on a possible wild goose chase. Neither do I wish do do anything which might harm her should I ring this number. This is a horrible situation to be in not knowing whether you have real information or false. I think I should pass it on, it could well be so innocent and then I would feel bad
I agree I would shout from the roof tops and knock on every door. I am the mother of four grown up kids and 3 grandchildren, none of you know how much Madeleine looks like my eldest Granddaughter, truly. Maybe this is why I have tuned into this the way I have, and maybe I need to take a step back. Let me see what I can find out via my sources here in Spain and those that I have in Portugal maybe I can find someone on the ground, so to speak.

Keep speaking her name, keep her face in your mind and never let her go from your thoughts. I have noticed the news reports in the UK are getting a bit scant, we cannot allow this to happen it has to be kept on top of the news.

Just an after thought. Not detracting from this particular case but does anyone actually have any idea how many children are missing throughout the world? I think we should all take as much time and concern over every missing child. Not telling people how to live, or think but it struck me the other day, there are so many, and unless it is a high profile case like this, we either do not get to hear about it or we do not take enough account of it. I hold my own hands up and admit I have done this but not with disregard but with the attitude of ‘What can I do?’

From experience, I know that police usually dismiss ‘psychic’ evidence as hocus pocus – and so they should when they have clear evidence. Good policemen (and I have known many in my time) keep an open mind on all avenues and work methodically and intuitively.

My prayers have been with them since the beginning of this nightmare. I am a mother of two and a grandmother of two beautiful granddaughters – both under three years old.

Reward? Like millions of people around the world praying and hoping for this little girl – my reward would be that she is back with her loving family safe and well.

I really don’t care if someone reads dustmites as long as she is found. Like others here and on many sites there is something about this case which has touched us all.

I would like to offer a practical idea if anyone is interested?
CALL HER NAME.LOUDLY.

Raise the roof off Portugal by making a human chain. Let Madeline’s parents know you are looking for her. More importantly, if Madeline IS within earshot, hearing her name may cause her to respond.

Everyone is looking out for her – but no-one is actually calling.

I swear if I was in Portugal, I would have rallied as many people as humanly possible to call this child’s name.On the beachfront, towns, countryside, streets, lanes…….

As mother’s and grandmothers it’s something we do when we want our children to hear us.

I did manage to get an email to Brian and he confirmed that he did receive the information, for some reason I felt I had to pass it to him.

Is anyone actually in Luz,Portugal who posts here? I need some help from someone on the ground, but don’t think it is advisable to post on an open forum the information I have. Can anyone help?
