A New Inanity

9th April 2007 · 6 Comments

With selfless devotion to my readers, I have hunted out another highly addictive game on the web for you to play (oh okay, I confess, Dom sent me the link).

The game is Desktop Tower Defense and has a very simple premise that you have to stop the bad guys from reaching the other side of the screen. To help with this aim, you can purchase towers with varying properties and place them strategically on the map.

It’s fiendishly addictive.

The knack seems to be to force the little sods to take the longest route possible between the two points, but I still haven’t completed it on easy level.

Just… one… more… try…

A combination of pellet towers and squirt towers seems to work for me.

    Only sometimes?

    Boy that’s addictive…

wintermute: wow, you completed all the levels already?! I used pretty much that tactic and have completed the easy setting… the medium setting is proving a bit too much of a challenge though and I’ve already spent hours on the dratted thing!

    Alley Katt: *grin*

Bowch: tell me about it, I even managed to get Akra hooked and he hardly ever plays computer games these days.

BE: okay, confess – *how* many more goes did you actually have? ;)
