This is a fascinating video doing the rounds at the moment – how the Web developed and what it can become.
Truly mind-blowing and incredibly cleverly put together. We’ve come a long way in the last decade or so, haven’t we?

That was great Pewari – you’re right, it does make you appreciate how much things have changed over the last few years. When we first got internet access (and we weren’t early adopters by any means!) I did wonder at first what all the excitement about the net was – I only had addresses for a few pages, and they weren’t particularly interesting; on-line searching was pretty pathetic, and I didn’t have anyone to e-mail!
How things have changed…

I arrived at your blog weary but happy after trying to find out what the music from the ING TV advertisement was called – stupid because I used to play it in the band at school – now I can’t find the post that I started from, so my comment is here.
Love the blog, I will take you to my reader.
Found this on YouTube:

That’s just incredible. Makes me feel old though. :) I went to Take me back and had a look at some of the sites that I have done before, and how what I do has changed. The first one I found was from 2000, and although I couldn’t see the pictures, I remembered it well.
Now I know I’m getting old.

valb: yes – does make you wonder what the next ten or so years will bring…
Crofty: welcome :) Thank you for commenting, it’s always nice to see a new face! And thank you for that YouTube link – I do love that music!
Alley Katt: Yes, looking at your old sites is always scary. I’ve had a look at my old gaming site on there and it’s quite scarily bad ;)
