Well My Glass Is Half Full…

Red wine corksAs if we still needed an excuse to drink red wine, there’s been yet another internation study looking at its health effects.

This time the conclusion was that red wine allows guilt-free gluttony – in other words, a substance found in red grapes counteracts many (but unfortunately not all) of the consequences of overeating. Must remember to imbibe heavily on December 25th then.

Now, if someone could just fund a similar study on the benefits of white wine, I’d be grateful. Just about to crack open a bottle in celebration of 12,000+ words for NaNoWriMo

My goodness, you are doing well. Do we get no hints about the plot this time?

Well done on the 12000 words, and funny, the day before yesterday my wife asked me to look for the health benefits of Red Wine. She is happy with this one as she has lost over six stone now.

Great word count! Well done! And I’m definitely pleased to have another reason to drink red wine (when I finish being pg and breastfeeding, of course)

Miss L: there’s a brief extract on my profile at NaNoWriMo library card but that’s all I’m prepared to divulge :)

NaNo is still going well – got past the 20k mark now! Unfortunately, the red wine was much shorter lived ;)
