Mental Note

11th February 2004 · 8 Comments

If you decide to chuck your body puff in the wash to give it a quick spruce up, remember to remove it before putting the whole load on the tumble dry cycle.

Fortunately, the meltdown of plastic was very self-contained and didn’t destroy the load it was in. I was lucky. This time.

Sigh…BTDT! And yet, I still keep forgetting it when I dry. I now have a sponge.

    What’s a body puff?

I’m with Berklee – what’s a body puff? Us non-Brits are pretty ignorant when it comes to body puffing wear :)

Picture of a body puff here: http://lindseyskincaresupply.com/bodypuff.html

It’s basically a plastic scourer for your body ;) Supposed to be better for exfoliating – I just have one because I don’t like soggy washcloths hanging around!

BTW, that site was just the first place I googled – I think their price is a rip off! You can buy a body puff for under a ?1 in UK supermarkets.

You can buy six for ?1 in Savers chemists!

They’re also good because you only need a bit of shower gel/soap – the mesh-like nature of the puff will increase the amount of lather

    Body puffs are great

Alright, I’ve had one of those, too. They’re great, they really make the soap foam! :)
