Two days in a row… I’d better be careful, or this will become a habit!

Not a particularly exciting day today, but I’ll bore you with it in case you find it more interesting than me. The main focus was The Big Move [tm].

Back in November hubby (henceforth referred to as Akra) got a new job up near Stratford-Upon-Avon so has been commuting up there from Croydon and returning home at weekends. Understandably, it’s been rather stressful and we’re keen to get moved and back together as a family again. We’ve got a buyer, found a house we like and are now in a complete chain. Should be easy from here on in, right?

Oh how naive… we are now in the hands of the solicitors. This morning we received a 20 point questionnaire covering queries from our buyer’s solicitors. Apparently “how the fuck should I know?!” is not an acceptable response for any of these questions. I did make good use of “unknown” and “not to the best of our knowledge” though.

Thank God they didn’t ask about mouse infestation…

On an unrelated note, my son (henceforth referred to as Akra Jr) has started to pretend he’s a frog. Is being extremely cute bouncing around on all fours and yelling “Rib…BIT! Rib…BIT!”
